I used to blog just about poker, but recently decided to write about everything of interest to me. I love to travel, enjoy good food & restaurants, drink some wine, and take pictures of my adventures. I got my nickname about 10 years ago when I used to play a lot of poker in Washington State, and guys used to tell me that “I was Lucky.” I always replied “I’m Not Lucky, I Have Good Karma” and a poker friend starting calling me “The Good Karma Kid”. One of the major reasons I haven’t posted in my blog recently is because I’ve been working night and day on a new poker project:

I’m really excited about this project, there are quite a few poker forums on the internet but nobody is really doing anything with a Web 2.0 type of feel. Poker Strategy Forums is in a real soft launch phase right now where we are still adding features, working out small bugs, formatting issues, and generally getting organized. The responses from our new members have been overwhelmingly positive. Everyone seems to really like the design and user friendly feel.

Tony G Shows No Class

This video has been out for sometime, so I’m not sure exactly how I missed it, but I happened to stumble upon it a few days ago while surfing YouTube. 

The first time I watched this video, I was embarrased.  Not for myself, but for Tony G.  What an asshole.  A year or so ago, I had breakfast with Tony G in the VIP lounge of the Crowne Plaza at the Commerce Casino in Los Angeles and he seemed like a normal enough guy.  Tony G is also the owner of several very high profile poker sites. It’s hard for me to imagine someone acting like this on TV, not to mention the fact that he is in the Poker Business.

Redesigning the Blog

Custom Websites

I guess you can say that I am an excellent procrastinator :) I haven’t posted yet this year. I am having the “GoodKarmaKid” blog redesigned to a WordPress template and it’s going to be a more general purpose type of blog, writing less about poker and more about Life, Traveling, and the other thins in life I enjoy, like find dining, wine, photography, etc. The New Blog should be ready around November 1st.
