Amsterdam CAC Poker Conference

// March 22nd, 2009 // No Comments » // Poker Blog, Website Marketing

I’ll be out of town for about 9 days. I’m heading to Amsterdam for the CAC poker conference.  I haven’t updated my blog in quite some time, I’m not terribly happy with the look, appearance, and functionality so I will be playing around with a few themes over the next couple of weeks. If something looks out of place, just check back.

Poker Strategy Forums

// March 4th, 2008 // No Comments » // Poker Blog, Website Marketing

One of the major reasons I haven’t posted in my blog recently is because I’ve been working night and day on a new poker project:

Poker Stategy Forums

I’m really excited about this project, there are quite a few poker forums on the internet but nobody is really doing anything with a Web 2.0 type of feel. Poker Strategy Forums is in a real soft launch phase right now where we are still adding features, working out small bugs, formatting issues, and generally getting organized. The responses from our new members have been overwhelmingly positive. Everyone seems to really like the design and user friendly feel.

There are several quality members participating in the Online Poker Chat forum as well as an incredible amount of quality Poker Videos to keep you occupied and interested in between discussing poker strategy.

Poker Strategy Forums is doing something unique that no other poker forum is doing. Instead of trying to create all of the content themselves, they are partnering with some of the best online poker sites on the internet to provide members with the highest quality poker content available. Currently, Poker Strategy Forums has partnerships with the following poker sites:

Sit and Go Strategy by SitandGoPlanet.com,

Omaha Poker Stategy by OmahaPlanet.com,

High Stakes Poker by HighStakesReport.com

Online Poker News by PokerOwnage.com

Poker Strategy Forums is off to a great straight and is going to be a great poker forum, stop by and check it out, you won’t be disappointed.

Tony G Shows No Class

[youtube DQVSh2ia_3s nolink]

This video has been out for sometime, so I’m not sure exactly how I missed it, but I happened to stumble upon it a few days ago while surfing YouTube.

The first time I watched this video, I was embarrased.  Not for myself, but for Tony G.  What an asshole.  A year or so ago, I had breakfast with Tony G in the VIP lounge of the Crowne Plaza at the Commerce Casino in Los Angeles and he seemed like a normal enough guy.  Tony G is also the owner of several very high profile poker sites. It’s hard for me to imagine someone acting like this on TV, not to mention the fact that he is in the Poker Business.

Watch the video and leave a comment with your opinion.  I know Ralph Perry and I’m hoping to get a video with his response posted to the blog shortly.[poll=2]
