Amsterdam CAC Poker Conference
// March 22nd, 2009 // No Comments » // Uncategorized
I’ll be out of town for about 9 days. I’m heading to Amsterdam for the CAC poker conference. I haven’t updated my blog in quite some time, I’m not terribly happy with the look, appearance, and functionality so I will be playing around with a few themes over the next couple of weeks. If something looks out of place, just check back.
Pimp Your Office Contest
// August 7th, 2008 // No Comments » // Computer Geek, Website Marketing
My friends over at Affiliate Programs recently had a contest for who has the pimpest office space so I decided to submit some pictures and details of my office for the contest. I won’t list everything here, but to check out my pimp office setup you can check out The Good Karma Kid’s Office in the contest thread at AffiliatePrograms.com
I don’t want to sound to cocky but I think I have a good chance of winning because I really do have a kick-ass home office.
There is a lot more info and pictures in the contest thread. If I win the contest I’m going to by this bad-ass chair from RelaxtheBack.com

Palms Place - The Drift Spa & Hammam
// May 1st, 2008 // No Comments » // Las Vegas
My wife and I have been suffering from parental burnout. We have two small boys, aged 2.5 and 1 who are quite demanding, as I’m sure the parents reading this blog can attest to. Grandma and Grandpa were both in town at the same time so we took advantage of the small window of opportunity and headed to the Drift Spa at “The Palms Place” for about 5 hours.
The Palms Place is the new luxury condo tower which sits on the same lot as “The Palms” hotel. The Palms place sold out in under 90 days. It’s in a great location with a very hip and modern atmosphere.
Back to the Spa, I would highly recommend checking out this spa if you are in Vegas, its smaller, more personable, and intimate then some of the megaresort spas but thats part of the charm. The “Drift Spa” features separate mens and womens sections with large jacuzzi, sauna, and steam baths, a comfortable lounge area with a large flat screen TV, ample supply of daily newspapers and magazines as well as a refrigerator stocked full of water, fruit juices and fresh fruit to enjoy during your stay at the day spa. The highlight of the Drift Spa is the Hammam, a traditional Turkish style communal wet sauna. This is really a nice feature, my wife and I could relax in the Hammam together and enjoy the steam then head off for a round of sauna treatments or massage and then meet back in the Hammam after an hour or so. Here is a picture of what the Hammam looks like:

I would highly recommend checking out the Drift Spa at the Palms place if you get a chance, it was an enjoyable experience.
